R & D Specialist

Global Direct Sourcing Inc. is a leading low cost, high quality OEM product provider for auto, truck and RV industries. To keep up with strong demand of global product sourcing, we need a progressive workforce in our R&D department. This R&D specialist position is a full-time position and is located in Chicago suburb, Oswego, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Work with our customers and our sale department to understand product technical, process and quality requirements, and to provide quotation to our customers.
Work with our global source to provide samples and PPAP documents to our customers and to insure the quality and on-time delivery of the samples and PPAP documents.
Manage projects, including contracts management, quality control, and on-time delivery and resolving any issues in the product developments and delivery.
Work with our customers and our sale department to provide product prints based on samples provided by our customers using CAD software.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
1+ year experiences in CAD software
1+ year experiences in Microsoft Excel Software
Speak fluent both English and Chinese

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Complimentary Engineering Degree(s)
1+ year experiences in CAD software, either AutoCAD or Pro-E
Understand ISO-9001 or TS-16949 quality system
Good Microsoft Office software skills
Good problem solving and strong analytical skills
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
